How to achieve bizSAFE Level 3?

bizSAFE Level 1

The registered Director in your ACRA should attend the 1/2 day bizSAFE Level 1 CEO/Top Management Course. Under special circumstances, your organisation may send a representative instead of the registered Director for the bizSAFE Level 1 course. However, the representative must belong to the top 3 tiers of your organisational chart.

bizSAFE Level 2

Your organisation should also send your functional heads for the 2 days bizSAFE Level 2 course on Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan. The attendees for bizSAFE Level 1 and bizSAFE Level 2 should not be the same personnel, unless under special circumstances.

bizSAFE Level 3

Your workplace should implement Risk Management (DIY) or engage a consultant to assist with the implementation. After which, the workplace must have its Risk Management (RM) Implementation audited by an SAC-Auditing Organisation (SAC-AO). Contact CCIS to find out more today!

Overview

This unit provides learners with the knowledge and skills to be a WSHMS Program Lead for the organisation in developing a WSHMS implementation plan to meet the requirements of SS (Singapore Standard) 506 and risk management code of practice. It entails reviewing the current WSH policy, risk management plan, WSH objectives and programmes. It also includes establishing frameworks for WSH management programmes and emergency preparedness and response plan in accordance with organisational safety and health needs and WSH legal and other requirements. This is one of the bizSAFE modules that lead to the award of WSQ Statement of Attainment in recognition of bizSAFE (level 4) by Workplace Safety and Health Council.

  • Introduction of Workplace Safety and Health Management System

  • Review WSH Policy and Risk Management Plan for Deficiencies

  • Set WSH Objectives and Determine Specific Programme(s)

  • If your company profile is classified as an SME with WDA, 90% of the course fee (before GST) is funded

  • If your company profile is classified as a non-SME with WDA, 50% of the course fee (before GST) is funded

  • You must submit your training grant application via SkillsConnect and provide us with the Training Grant Number up to 30 days before the course start date and no later than 30 days after course start date. If payment is received more than 120 days after the course end date, your organisation will not be eligible for funding and the full course fee is billable

  • If a participant fails the course or fails to meet the 75% attendance, your organisation will not be eligible for funding for that participant and CCIS will also bill your organisation for the full course fee for that participant

How to achieve bizSAFE STAR?

bizSAFE Level 1

Your organisation will need to obtain ISO 45001:2018 (International Standard for Occupational Health & Safety Management System) or SS 506 (Singapore Standard).
